Note
Buttons should be depressed with finger tips only. Never press buttons with a sharp
object such as a pen, screwdriver, centrifuge insert, fingernail, etc. The buttons are
membrane switches designed to be activated by finger actuation. Use with any hard or
sharp object can cause damage to the tactile layer of the button, rendering the button
unstable and prone to premature failure.
Error Indicators
A flashing red Error or Service indicator on the control panel signals a StatSpin Express 4
error condition.
Use the combination of green cycle time indicators that are flashing to identify the cause of
the error condition. For more information, refer to
To clear the error condition, correct the problem and press the Stop or Open button.
