Danger of suffocation by inert gas
Inert gas in the enclosure can cause danger of suffocation. The enclosure also contains a
flammable substance which is within the flammable range when it comes into contact with
air.
Faulty adjustment and reassembly
Only carry out adjustments using appropriate tools in order to avoid short-circuits on the
electronic PCBs.
If the assembly or adjustment is faulty, dangerous gas may escape in certain cases, resulting
in a danger to health (poisoning, burns) and corrosion on the analyzer.
Incorrect installation location for rack-mounted devices
Explosion hazard in the hazardous area.
Make sure that the device is installed in a low-vibration location. The device may only be
subject to vibrations up to 5 m/s².
Replacement of fuses for rack-mounted devices Ex nA
Explosion hazard in the hazardous area.
Fuses may only be replaced by authorized personnel. Contact Siemens Support: → Technical
support (Page 95).
