PoE with rack-mounted devices Ex nA
Explosion hazard due to incorrect infeed.
The use of Power over Ethernet (PoE) is not permitted for this application (rack-mounted
devices, Ex nA). Only connect the device to an Ethernet without power supply.
Incorrect reference gas
Explosion hazard when used in the hazardous area.
Use nitrogen exclusively as the reference gas for combustible media in the hazardous area.
Also ensure that the reference gas pressure is at least 2.2 bar (3.2 bar abs.).
Note
Measuring accuracy
To obtain an accurate measurement, the reference gas pressure must be 2 bar over the sample
gas pressure.
