Burner bed and gasket
Removal of the burner bed will allow you to remove excess soot and check the burner gasket
as this can break down over time.
1. To lift out the burner two brackets will need
to be removed. The screw position of each is
shown below.
3. Check the integrity of the white gasket seal by checking the underside of the burner bed and
also from the side.
4. Using an air hose or soft brush carefully remove
any carbon deposition (soot) from the burner
bed.
6. There is a locating slot in the cabinet of the burner bed and on the burner bed itself. Make sure
the burner bed slots into place when repositioning. You will know when it is correctly positioned
as you will hear it slot into position. It should be fixed in place.

2. Carefully lift out the burner bed. Note hand
position below—this allows the burner to be
well supported, and removed without chipping
the sides.
5. Before returning the burner bed, check the
screws to ensure they are not too tight. Over
tightening the screws can cause the burner bed
to crack.
