5.11 Managing remote access
The installer uses remote programming software (RPS) to program the MAP system. This
remote access can be enabled or disabled by the user in case the user has been initially
authorized by the installer.

The system events are displayed.
Press Clear Event Memory.
The content of the event memory is deleted.
Press View Alarm Counter.
The number of reported alarms since the alarm system was installed is displayed.
Press Silence.
A confirmation message is displayed.
The acoustic alarm on the local control center and all acoustic alarms of remote deices
are silenced.

To open the RPS menu, press
The RPS menu is displayed.
Press Authorize RPS Access.
The Authorize RPS Access button turns light grey and the remote access is enabled.
Press Cancel RPS Authorization.
The Cancel RPS Authorization button turns light grey and the remote access is disabled.
