Configuring the OpenStorage application IP interfaces

This section describes how to update the OpenStorage IP communication interfaces
on a node.
If you are installing a VTL configuration, proceed to "Performing a system health
check" on page 121.
About this task
Use the ProtecTIER menu to update the application-related IP interfaces.

Procedure
Perform the following steps to configure OpenStorage application IP interfaces.
1. Perform the following substeps:

v If you are in a stand-alone configuration, go to Chapter 8, "Installing
ProtecTIER Manager on the ProtecTIER Manager workstation," on page 127.
v If you are in a clustered configuration, repeat step 1 on page 104 on Server B,
then go to Chapter 8, "Installing ProtecTIER Manager on the ProtecTIER
Manager workstation," on page 127.
a. At the command line, type menu and then press Enter. The ProtecTIER
Service menu displays.
