The storage drive configuration can comprise both hard
disk drives (HDDs) or solid state drives (SSDs). The
configuration includes:
2.5-inch back panel accessible, hot-swappable drives.
Supported drives include up to four 2.5-inch hot-pluggable
SAS3 HDDs or SATA3 SSDs per SMOD
Sixteen hot-swappable PCIe 3.0 slots supported on eight
dual PCIe card carriers (DPCCs).
Eight slots are PCIe x8, and eight slots are PCIe x16.
■ Slots 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15: x16 electrical interface
■ Slots 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,18: x8 electrical interface
