36. CLEANING THE VACUUM HOSE

Whenever vacuum seems to be unsatisfactory, check that the vacuum hose is not obstructed. If necessary
clean with a jet of water as follows:
1. Make sure the recovery tank is empty, otherwise empty it completely
2. Check that the parking brake is engaged, and if not, engage it
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the squeegee nozzle (1)
ATTENTION: Before performing any maintenance, remove the keys from the
panel and disconnect the battery connector.
ATTENTION: This operation must be carried out using gloves to protect
against contact with dangerous solutions.
4. Grip the seat rotation uncoupling handle (2), move it forward as far as it will go
5. Rotate the seat support as far as it will go
6. Rotate the vacuum cap until the prop (3) fixed to the vacuum cap attaches to the prop (4) fixed to the
recovery tank
7. Release the safety clip (5) from the hole that it is using when the vacuum cap is closed and insert it
into the safety hole
8. Clean it with a jet of running water inserted into the joint (6)
9. Reassemble all the elements

37. CLEANING THE SOLUTION TANK

Proceed as follows for cleaning:
1. Check that the parking brake is engaged, and if not, engage it
2. Check that the electrical system connector is disconnected from the battery connector, and if not,
disconnect it
3. Check the main switch is on "0" (turn it to this position if necessary)
4. Ensure the solution tank is empty, otherwise empty it
ATTENTION: Before performing any maintenance, remove the keys from the
panel and disconnect the battery connector.
