6.1 Type plate/Product serial number

The product serial number is given on the type plate.

6.2 Engine

The model LB248S have a Briggs & Stratton 650EXI
engine. LB253S have a Briggs & Stratton 675EXI
engine. The model LB348SI have a Briggs &Stratton
675EXI InStart engine with a start battery.

6.3 Battery

WARNING: Before you use the battery, you
must read and understand the safety chapter.
You must also read and understand the
operator's manual for the battery and the battery
charger.
6.3.1 Battery
Use only the the battery in the list:
• Li-ion, 12V/15.7Wh
6.3.2 To charge the battery
If only 1 or 0 lamp indicators on the battery are on, it is
necessary to charge it. An empty battery is fully charged
in 1 hour. To charge for shorter periods of time does not
do damage to the battery.

1. Put the battery in the battery charger.
2. Connect the battery charger to a power socket,
220V, 50Hz.
6.3.3 To start the battery
You need to start the battery before the first time you
use it.
1. Put the battery into the charger, see
battery on page 13 .
2. Wait until a minimum of 1 green lamp comes on,
approximately 10 seconds.
3. Attach the battery to the engine, see
(LB348SI) on page 8 .
