5. Remove the circlip and the shaft to loosen the rod.
6. Remove the wire from the bracket with pliers.
Remove the spring from the gearbox.
7. Remove the load off the spring. Remove the nut with
an adjustable wrench.

8. Remove the link arm assy on the two sides.
9. Remove the gearbox.
7.6.2 To assemble the gearbox
1. Assemble in the opposite sequence. Make sure to
use the correct torque. Refer to
LB348SI on page 11 .

7.7.1 To disassemble the engine
1. Disconnect the engine brake wire using a pair of flat
nosed pliers.
