7.2 General repair instructions

WARNING: The battery must always be
removed for maintenance/repair work. Replace
it only when the product is assembled!
Note: Note how cables and other components are put
before disassembling. Make sure to put them correctly
to prevent them from being caught when the product is
assembled.
7.3 Blade
7.3.1 To disassemble the blade
1. Lock the blade with a piece of wood.
2. Remove the blade bolt.
3. Remove the blade.
7.3.2 To clean and examine the blade
1. Examine the blade support and blade bolt to see if
there are damages.
2. Examine the motor shaft to make sure that it is not
bent.

7.3.3 To assemble the blade
1. When you attach the new blade, make sure the bent
parts of the blade are in the direction of the cutting
cover.
2. Make sure that the blade is aligned with the center
of the motor shaft.
3. Lock the blade with a piece of wood. Attach the
spring washer and tighten the bolt and washer.
Make sure to use the correct torque. Refer to
LB248S , LB253S, LB348SI on page 11 .
4. Turn the blade by hand and make sure that it turns
freely.
WARNING: Use heavy duty gloves. The
blade is very sharp and can cut your hands.
5. Start the product to do a test of the blade. If the
blade is not correctly attached then there is vibration
in the product or the cutting result is unsatisfactory.
7.4 Wheels
7.4.1 To disassemble the wheels
1. Remove the hubcap.
2. Remove the center screw and the wheel.
