7.8 Fuel System

7.8.1 HP fuel line – Pressure pipe neck replacement
Preconditions
☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

Torque wrench, 20-100 Nm
Open-end wrench bit
Spider patch spanner
Spider patch spanner
Double-head box wrench
Ratchet adapter
Assembly compound (Kluthe Hakuform 30-15)
Engine oil
Pressure pipe neck
WARNING
Fuels are combustible and explosive.
Risk of fire and explosion!
• Avoid open flames, electrical sparks and ignition sources.
• Do not smoke.
• Wear protective clothing, protective gloves, and safety glasses / facial protection.

Compressed air gun ejects a jet of pressurized air.

• Never direct air jet at people.
• Always wear safety goggles/face mask and ear defenders.
Preparatory steps
