GETTING STARTED

Here are the basic steps to start a safety configuration.

The presence of intense electromagnetic interference may affect the correct func-
tioning of the device. This condition shall be carefully evaluated by seeking the
advice of Datalogic Technical Service.
A sudden change in the environment temperature (e.g. with very low minimum
peaks) can generate a small condensation layer on the laser and compromise
proper operation.
The operating distance of the device can be reduced in the presence of smog, fog
or airborne dust.
Installation must be performed by qualified personnel after making sure that the
window is clean and free from scratches, dust, dirt spots and fingerprints. For

Failure to inspect the window or set the proper environmental condition during
installation may lead to a reduced detection capability of the scanner.
