Step 3: Program the Multiple Subscribers Numbers (MSNs)

Both ends of the telephone connecting cord have the
same connector.
Insert one connector into the socket labelledD on the
underside of the device and insert the other connector
into your ISDN socket. Feed the cable into the cable chan-
nel.
In both cases, the connectors must engage audibly.
If you have connected the Pronto 32i correctly, the follow-
ing message now appears in the telephone display:
MSN missing!
Configuration?
We recommend that the MSNs be entered when the tel-
ephone is first put into operation, because only then can
you use the answering machine functions. The MSNs
(Multiple Subscriber Numbers) are the directory numbers
you were assigned for your ISDN connection. These num-
bers are entered as follows:

Enter one of the three MSNs using keys
You received the MSNs from the network provider with
your ISDN connection. Do not enter any country or area
codes!
