HU=LO Low power heat up mode for heat transfer salt
HU=HI High power heat up mode
Press "UP" or "DOWN" to change the option and then press "SET" to store the
setting.
NOTE: When using salt as the fluid be sure to always set this option to
LO to maximize the lifetime of the heaters.

Serial interface parameters

The optional serial RS-232 interface parameters menu is indicated by,

The serial interface parameters menu contains parameters which determine the
operation of the serial interface. These controls only apply to baths fitted with
the serial interface. The parameters in the menu are — baud rate, sample pe-
riod, duplex mode, and linefeed.

Baud rate

The baud rate is the first parameter in the menu. The baud rate setting deter-
mines the serial communications transmission rate.
The baud rate parameter is indicated by,

BAUd
Press "SET" to choose to set the baud rate. The current baud rate value will
then be displayed.
Current baud rate
1200 b
The baud rate of the bath serial communications may be programmed to
300,600,1200, or 2400 baud. Use "UP" or "DOWN" to change the baud rate
value.
New baud rate
2400 b
Press "SET" to set the baud rate to the new value or "EXIT" to abort the opera-
tion and skip to the next parameter in the menu.
