Required Tools and Equipment
The Alarm, Timing (BITS), Craft, LAN and UDC ports of ONS15310-MA SDH are intra-building ports. The
Warning
CRAFT and LAN ports (rear side) of ONS15310-MA SDH are intra-building ports used only for setup and
maintenance purposes by trained personnel and are not connected during normal operation. The BITS
ports are suitable only for connecting to shielded cabling grounded at both ends.
Caution Always use the supplied ESD wristband when working with a powered ONS 15310-MA SDH. Plug the
wristband cable into either of the ESD jacks, on the far left and right faceplates in the shelf.
