Pass the carbon ribbon from the ribbon
supply unit beneath the print head to
the ribbon windup unit. Affi x the carbon
ribbon to the ribbon core using tape,
etc., and wind it up several times in the
direction shown by the turn arrow.

Close the top cover.
Press the top cover from above in the
direction of the arrows until it clicks into
position.
