Selected SIS Commands
You can use SIS commands for operation and configuration of the
switchers (see
Switcher Commands
from the PC connected to an AV LAN port (IPCP models) or the
LAN port (non-IPCP models) (

Establishing a Network (Ethernet) Connection
NOTE:
port, you may need to change the default settings (IP address,
subnet mask, user name, and administrator or user password)
of the IPCP controller or switcher.
Establish a network connection as follows:
1.
Open a TCP socket to port 23 using the switcher IP address.
NOTE:
The switcher responds with a copyright message including the
name, firmware version, and part number of the product, and
the current date and time.

The first time you connect to the switcher via the LAN
The factory default IP address is 192.168.254.254.

If the switcher is not password-protected, the device is
now ready to accept SIS commands.

If the switcher is password-protected, a Password
prompt appears.
•
The factory configured passwords for all accounts on
this device have been set to the device serial number.
In the event of a complete system reset, the passwords
convert to the default, which is no password.
