2.3  Assembly
For cleaning it may be necessary to remove the cushion parts from the cover. To do so, open the
zipper of the cover and remove the cushion parts.
For reassembly, please proceed in reverse order paying attention to the following:
• Insert the foam parts/Floam pads through the slots of the inner cover (Cel-Pak) (2/3).
INFORMATION
When inserting the Floam cells into the Cel-Pak (inner cover) make sure that they match the
location according to their colour.
• The foam base covers the inner cover (Cel-Pak) (4).
• Pull the outer over the inner cover (Cel-Pak) so that the foam base faces down, the Floam
pad faces up and the "back" labels show in the same direction.
2.4  Cleaning and Care
NOTICE
Risk of damage due to improper cleaning. Do not use any bleaching agents. Do not tumble-
dry the foam parts.
INFORMATION
Should it be necessary to disinfect the cushion (cover/foam parts), add a standard hygiene
detergent during washing (e.g. Sagrotan laundry hygiene detergent).
In case of heavy incontinence, an additional incontinence cover should be used. Wash the cover
separately at 40°C / 104 °F using a mild, environment-friendly detergent.
Cover
For separate washing, the zipper of the cover can be opened and the cover removed.
1. Turn the cover inside out for cleaning.
2. The cover can be washed at 65 °C / 149 °F using a mild, environment-friendly detergent. To
prevent excessive wear we recommend, however, to wash the cover at 40 °C / 104 °F (gentle
wash).
3. When tumble-drying, use gentle cycle and choose a low temperature.
Replace the cover in case of advanced wear and tear.
Foam parts
Hand-wash the foam parts at 40°C / 104 °F using a mild, environment-friendly detergent.
Floam cells
Should it be necessary in rare cases to clean the Floam cells, then please observe the following:
The sheath of the Floam cells is made of double-layer polyurethane foil. For cleaning, remove it
from the Cel-Pak cover. Rinse it with lukewarm water, or use a disinfectant or detergent that are
not based on alcohol.
Dry the cells with a towel or let them air dry at room temperature.
