Cloud consists of:
• Cover (1)
• Floam side cells (2)
• Individual Floam cells (3)
• Foam base (4)
Sizes
The seat area is divided into 16 cells which are anatomically arranged on a foam base:
• Blue Floam cell: small
• Black Floam cell: medium
• Red Floam cell: large
Cel-Pak
The inner cover (Cel-Pak) serves to hold the side cells of Floam and the individual Floam cells in
position and tightly encloses the foam base.
After removal of the foam base from the bottom side of the cushion, qualified personnel can
exchange or replace any individual Floam cell, if necessary.
1.6  Accessories
The seat cushion can be combined with an incontinence cover (article number 477C00=
ST410/..411/..412/..413).
2 Handling
2.1  Positioning
Always make sure that the cushion is correctly positioned in the wheelchair and that the cover is
correctly re-mounted after it has been removed.
Place the cushion on the wheelchair. The "back" label attached to the bottom side of the cushion
should point towards the backrest. The square hook and loop patch sewn to the bottom side of
the cushion makes the cushion easy to fix in place.
2.2  Function Test
Daily:
Loosen up the Cloud cushion by pushing the polymer gel of the Floam cells from the sides towards
the centre of the cushion. Do not take the cushion out of the cover.
Since the Floam's own weight does not it to flow, this measure makes sure that a maximum of
Floam is underneath the user.
Monthly:
For inspection of the Floam cells you can remove the cushion cover.
Remove the foam basis on the bottom side of the cushion and then remove the cells through the
slots (5).
Inspect the individual Floam cells. If necessary, they can be replaced by qualified personnel.
