8) Adjustment of bobbin catcher
A. Operating the bobbin catcher
If the bobbin pressure rod lever① is not working as in
Figure, adjust the end of the bobbin pressure rod lever① so
that it is placed likeⓐ at the end of the mes connecting link
②. Then, loosen the operation bobbin pressure rod lever
fixing screw③ and adjust.
B. As in Figure 20, if the trimming was done manually, stop
the machine when the edge of the fixed knife meets the
bobbin catcher adjustment baseline that is marked on the
top. Loosen the bobbin catcher fixing screw⑤ and adjust
the bobbin catcher so that the contact surface of the bobbin
catcher④ lightly touches the center of the protruding part of
the bobbin①. Once the operation is completed, check to see
whether the bobbin catcher springs back lightly.
