INFORMATION
These Titanium System Knee Joints are designed to be used together with
free-motion or dorsiflexion assist ankle joints. Please note: combining this
product with ankle joints having a dorsiflexion stop increases stresses on the
entire orthosis and results in increased wear and tear on the components.
The remote cable-release should only be used in combination with the
integral Cable Housing (as delivered.) Refer to 5. Maintenance.
2 Indications for use
Partial paralysis or complete paralysis of the lower limb musculature. Spe-
cific indications must be determined by the physician.

The upper joint section (1), lower joint section (2), and cover (8) are made of
titanium. The 17B105/17B106 System Knee Joints have both axial bearings
(bearing washers) and radial bearings (brass bushings) and have hardened
cotter bolts. The 17Y122 Wedge Lock is mounted in the 30U113 Lower
Joint Section along with the 513D19=0.63x4x20 Compression Spring. The
21A18=2 Perlon Cable is led through the 21A17 Cable Housing and allows
unlocking of the joint.
