The CPX−CM−HPP is intended exclusively for use in CPX
terminals from Festo in conjunction with appropriate
components. The maximum values specified in "Technical
data" must be observed here.
Detailed information can be found in the description for
the CPX−CM−HPP (P.BE−CPX−CM−HPP−...) as well as in the
CPX system description (P.BE−CPX−SYS−...).
Warning
· Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plug connectors (otherwise functional
damage).
· Use only power sources which guarantee reliable
electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/EN 60204−1. Observe also the general require
ments for PELV power circuits as per IEC/EN 60204−1.
· Connect an earth conductor of sufficient cable cross
section to the connection on the CPX terminal
marked with the earth symbol.
· The CPX−CM−HPP contains electrostatically sensitive
devices. Therefore, do not touch any components.
Observe the handling specifications for electrostati
cally sensitive devices.
Note
Commission only a CPX terminal which has been
mounted and wired completely.
