To set the switching points:
1.
Switch on the compressed air supply.
2.
Switch on the operating voltage supply. The white LED lights up.
3.
Bring the process valve into the required position, using either the solenoid
valve's MO or the master controller.
Unscrew the clamping screw of the required sensor (Fig. 9 7 ).
4.
5.
Position the sensor half-way between the two switch-off points. The sensor
LED goes out at the switch-off points. If a sensor cannot be pushed down so
far, mount the sensor rotated by 180° (cable outlet upwards).
6.
Tighten the clamping screw – tightening torque max. 0.6 Nm.
7.
If necessary, set the switching points of other sensors in the same way.
Mounting the cover
Note
Incorrect mounting can damage the cover. The base plate has fixings of various
sizes that only fit in the intended openings.
• Align the cover as shown in Fig. 1 or Fig. 6 before mounting the cover and
tightening the mounting screws.
1.
Align the cover as shown in Fig. 1 or Fig. 6 and carefully mount on the base
plate.
2.
Tighten the mounting screws – tightening torque 0.8 Nm ±10%.
Trial operation
Test the signal and control behaviour of the C-TOP+ during the trial operation. To
,
do this
bring the process valve into the required valve position. When a sensor is
switched, the corresponding LED lights up (see
rect the position of the respective sensor and check the signal behaviour again.

Operation

Make sure that the operating conditions are within the permitted ranges
(
Technical specifications in section 13).
10
Service and maintenance
If necessary:
• Clean the exterior of the C-TOP+ with a soft cloth.
11
Removal and repairs
Make sure that the following sources of power are switched off:
– electrical power supply
– compressed air supply.
• Disassembly should proceed in reverse order to the installation.
