Select a Communication mode.
•
Fixed The IP address is always available.
•
Direct CS (circuit switched): The NMC workstation calls the Deko-CMU when it
wants to connect.
•
IP Callback: The NMC workstation calls the Dekolink CCD and triggers the
Deko-CMU to call an ISP to get an IP address.
•
CS Callback: The NMC workstation calls the Dekolink CCD and the Deko-CMU
calls back the unit.
•
Enter the Local Phone Number of the Deko-CMU.
•
Enter the Remote Phone Number of the CCD. In the case of IP callback, this
is the phone number of the ISP. In the case of CS Callback, this is the phone
number of OMC.
•
Enter the Modem Initiation String. This is the string that the modem uses for
start up.
•
Enter a Connection Initiation String only when using IP Callback. This is an
preliminary string that sets the modem in IP mode such that the string in step d
can run.
•
Enter the modem identification parameters: Username and Password
•
Set the Inactivity Timeout in minutes, where the modem is connected after
this idle time
•
Set Always On.
