By default, the LBDA Panel Mask drop-down box = ON. This enables the user
to set the Maximum Power using the Max Power parameter in this pane.
Note: To allow setting the maximum power from the Repeater selector (see
1.4.2.2), set the LBDA Panel Mask = OFF.
5. Verify the signal strength - Note that the Downlink MAX Gain parameter is set by
default to its maximum level: 80dB.
6. The Amp Fwd Threshold parameter is factory set to 8dBm
value of the Composite Output Power (i.e. if the maximum value of the Composite
Output power is = to 31dBm, then the Amp Fwd Threshold = 24dBm).
7. If the site NOISE LEVEL is high enough to cause interference, adjust the noise level
as follows:
Adjust the Gain Delta parameter – this sets the delta between the uplink and
downlink gain (so the uplink gain is relatively lower than the downlink gain.
Click Send.
Repeat the procedure until the desired coverage is achieved.
8. Click Send (top window area option).
9. Configure the bandwidth filter according to the following section.

ONFIGURING THE
The following sections describe how to configure the Repeater filters according to the
channels used at the site.
The Filter Switch pane is used to select the iDEN channels according to the required
bandwidths and frequency shift. You may choose two bandwidths: either 18MHz or
7MHz.
Note: The displayed 5MHz bandwidth in the Filter Switch tab is not relevant and is
disabled.
To define the required iDEN channels
1. In the tree pane, click Deko3108 and then click the Filter Switch tab. The
following pane appears.
The pane contains two columns with parallel parameters for each available
bandwidth: 18MHz (activated by default) and 7MHz.
