parameter in the Config and Params tab (section 4.3) is set to ON. This does NOT
indicate an error. (If the Panel Switch Mask parameter is set to OFF, the corresponding
indicator in the Alarms tab will be GREEN).
3. If an external modem is to be connected to the unit, define the parameters
according to section (next section); otherwise reset the unit according to section
4.8.
