PROBLEM
Zone Mode Problems:
Zone Alarms not detected by the
7845CZ.
The 7845CZ causes a bell fault
when wired to the bell output of the
control panel.

PROBABLE CAUSE
•
Ground not connected between
the control panel and the
7845CZ.
•
Zone setting does not match its
physical connection
configuration.
Incorrect zone setting.
SOLUTION
•
Check all wiring and make sure
the GND terminal of the radio is
connected the control panel's
signal ground not earth ground.
•
Make sure that the program-
med setting EOLR, V+, or V-
matches the wired connection
to Z1.
Make sure that for + bell outputs,
the 7845CZ is set for V+ trigger,
and that for – bell outputs, it is set
for V- trigger.
