Installing Ceiling Enclosures Above the
Fume Hood
Your Protector XStream Fume Hood has mounting holes to accept a ceiling
enclosure to close off the area between the top of the hood and the ceiling.
Contact Labconco Customer Service for ordering information. Labconco offers
both non-adjustable fixed height ceiling enclosures as well as adjustable height
ceiling enclosures per the charts below. Other special sizes are available upon
request.
3-Sided Ceiling Enclosure Kits
The panels extend above the top of the hood to the ceiling to hide exposed ductwork, plumbing
and wiring. For any 3 ft to 8 ft Protector XL Benchtop, Premier, XStream, Stainless Steel or PVC
Fume Hood. Each kit includes three glacier white powder-coated steel ceiling enclosure panels,
one for the front of the hood and one for each side of the hood.
