Adapt demo configuration file

RMsys Configurator comes included with several demo configuration files for
CANlink GSM /UMTS 5xxx devices. These files are in DOD format and contain an
object dictionary with the most common basic settings. However, some changes
may be required, depending on your individual application.
If you are using a Vodafone SIM card provided by Proemion, there is no need to
change the demo settings. You may however change some settings, such as the
roaming settings or the online mode handling, to better suit your application.
If you are using a different SIM card, the following changes are required:

Select a GSM/UMTS network provider.
•
Change the default SIM card PIN.
It is further recommended to:
•
Check the roaming settings.
•
Check the online mode handling options.
To adapt the demo configuration, proceed as follows:
RMsys Configurator must be running and the devices connected as described
in the previous sections.
1. To open a demo configuration file, click the arrow at the right hand side of
the folder icon in the tool bar and select

 The software automatically opens the path where the demo configuration
files are installed.
