GPS antenna

NOTICE
► Use only active GPS antennas with LNA, gain max. 25 dBi, voltage 3 V DC,
current max. 30mA.
1. Make sure that the device's power supply is switched off.
2. Connect the antenna's SMA connector to the device's GPS connector.
To maximize the performance of the GPS receiver, mount the GPS antenna in a
place where it is level with the local geographic horizon and has full view of the sky
above. If you are using separate GSM/UMTS and GPS antennas, mounting them
at least 2 meters away from each other will also help to improve the GPS
performance.
There are different GPS antennas available for CANlink GSM / UMTS 5xxx. For a
list of suitable antennas see chapter 1.2.3 Software and accessories or contact our
sales team: sales@proemion.com
