Lateral Facial Pad Positioning

Lateral Facial Components (LFC's) are designed to assist in supporting the head laterally to help your
client maintain a vertical alignment when lateral deviation is present or for low-profile switch access.
Use a bilateral configuration to inhibit Asymmetrical tonic neck reflex (ATNR) by placing the pads in a
position that will counteract the rotation that is occurring. Carefully place the pad(s) in a position that will
evenly distribute the pressure placed upon them to avoid discomfort.
