Network settings from the file in In‐
draControl VAC 30.2/31.1
button are wired firmly on the VAC 30.2/31.1 connection module. The network
data of the IndraControl VCH 08.1 as well as the IP address of the control are
saved in the connection module VAC 30.2/31.1 via the memory function.
In this way different sections of a plant can be visualized by means of one
IndraControl VCH 08.1 via several IndraControl VAC 30.2/31.1 connection
modules. With each change of the plug-in location the IndraControl VCH 08.1
gets e. g. a new target IP address or a UDP address.
The following functionality is in preparation:
As far as IndraWorks is concerned, the intelligent connection mod‐
ule IndraControl VAC 30.2/31.1 serves as wild card for a firmly
projected CE operating device, for which the application is stored
in the IndraControl VCH 08.1, on a server in the network or ideally
on the control (see IndraWorks VCH configuration dialogs).
The IndraControl VCH 08.1 applies the network settings that are read out from
the VAC 30.2/31.1 connection module after every restart. These settings can
be adjusted in the Rexroth Settings, see
page
95. These settings are saved in the IndraControl VAC 30.2/31.1 con‐
nection module.
In certain cases the memory function of the IndraControl VAC 30.2/31.1 func‐
tion module is not available, e.g. if the IndraControl VCH 08.1 is wired directly
in the control cabinet or if the VAC 30.2/31.1 is defective. In such cases the
network settings are stored in a file in the IndraControl VCH 08.1. However,
then the hand-held terminal is connected to one single control only.
If an IndraControl VCH 08.1 that was previously connected to an IndraControl
VAC 30.2/31.1 is directly wired in a switching cabinet by cable exchange, or
connected to an IndraControl VAC 30.2/31.1 with a defective memory function,
a message is displayed (see 7-25).
