This tab is used for loading an image file into the IndraControl VCH 08.1. The
operating system can be updated via a newly integrated image file.
The image file may be copied into any diretory, but "not" into the
\FlashDr directory.
Do execute a "Check File" befor an image update. The image file
can be filed for example in the "tmp" directory.
A new WinCE image file can selected in the file selection dialog.
If an image update is performed, the registry will be deleted auto‐
matically and the IndraControl VCH 08.1 will reboot. Then the
IndraControl VCH 08.1 starts with the factory settings and all set‐
tings have to be saved newly (touchscreen, joystick, override po‐
tentiometer, control panel, etc.).
The selected file can be checked for validity. "Check File" is only active if a valid
image file has been selected.
Click on "Start Update" to start the update and to display the progress. "Start
Update" is only active if a valid image file has been checked successfully for
validity by "Check File".
If this option is selected, the registry is deleted and the IndraControl VCH
08.1 is rebooted automatically. Then the IndraControl VCH 08.1 starts with the
factory settings and all settings have to be saved newly (touchscreen, joystick,
override potentiometer, control panel, etc.).
