C. INDICATION LAMP
Memory loading lamp
The CS·363P has four memory lamps to be used in conjunction with the first four memory
registers.
The corresponding lamp turns on when memory registers(No.1 -
No.4) are
occupied.

Minus indication lamp
Turns on where the displayed number is negative or minus zero.

Overflow error indication lamp
I n the following cases the overflow error is detected.
1)
When a
17
digit number, including decimal portion, is listed.
2)
When a 16 digit number is listed for decimal portion.
3)
When the integral number of the answer exceeds 16
digits.
4)
When the integral number of the answer, the addend or the subtrahend for memory
exceeds (16 - TAB number) digits.
(When TAB is "F"
position,
the T ABnumber is performed as zero)
5)
When division is performed and divisor is zero.
6)
The overflow error in programming is explained in page 69. Please refer to it.
When the overflow error is detected, all keys except
g
key are electronically locked
.
The
overflow error lamp turns on and the figures in the display tubes turn off.
When the overflow error is detected, the memory register keeps the previous content in all
cases.
