MANUAL OPERATION
The following explanations are the key operations of manual mode (when program switch is
set at "N" mode.). As to the key operation of programmings, refer to page 57 "A. Before
programm i ng".
A. SELECTOR SWITCH
Rounding switch

R: For non·memory calculation
M: For memory calculation
These switches can be designated for memory calculation or non-memory calculation
independently.
Tabulation selector
Designates decimal point position for memory calculation or non-memory calculation
independently. (0,1,2,3.4,6,7 ,F)
F: Floating decimal point setting position
R: For non-memory calculation
M: For memory calculation
When the successive calculation is performed the decimal point works as floating position
during the calculation even preset is selected, and after

Constant switch
N
Used for carrying out calculations using a constant number.
K position (Constant mode): Designates constant calculation mode.
N position (Non-constant mode): Designates non-constant calculation mode.
B. KEY IDENTIFICATION

Clear key
Clears all the contents except memory register.

Clear entry key
Clears figures entered by
mistake.

Recall key
Exchanges the contents of X register (display register) with those of Y register (operation
register)

Multiplication key
Orders multiplication and starts operation when chain calculations are performed. The key
lamp turns on when the key is touched.
