Fieldbus Bits

Information!
This functionality is only available in devices in the safety version 'SV 4.3' (see lateral
label)!
The fieldbus bits enable communication between the controller and the safety
program. The fieldbus bits can be used to pass any acknowledgment signals or
similar to the safety program and provide status information to the controller.
The states of the AS-i Safety in- and outputs are sent to the controller via the in-
put data image (see par. <Safety diagnostics in the Input Data Image (IDI)>).
