11. DRIVE SYSTEM
A. Main Motor
All necessary mechanical drive for printing (drum,
developing assembly, fixing assembly, pickup/delivery
unit) is provided by the main motor.
Removal
(1)
Open the printer (raise the upper half). Open the
right door and take the EP cartridge out.
(2) Remove the rear panel, the top cover and the left
panel. (See Figs. 4-2 to 4-5.)
(3) Unplug the three connectors on the varistor PCB.
(4) Take the left frame out (8).

(5) Remove the fastening screw on the high-voltage
power supply cover and disconnect the connec-
tor. Remove the high-voltage power supply
(1).

(6)
Unplug the connector. Take out the main motor
(5).
