This printer has a seamless photosensitive drum
with the structure shown in Fig. 2-12. The drum
consists of an outer layer of an organic photo-
conductor (OPC) on a conductive aluminum base.
The image-forming process can be divided into
seven steps. The first three steps constitute one stage,
while each other stage is a single step.
