VI. POWER SUPPLIES
A. Power Interlock Assembly
The power interlock assembly controls all AC
loads.
It
switches the AC supply to the AC loads for
printing.

The DC power supply for the video-controller
fo the main illustration shows the new type,
and the illustration or· the left, the old type.

AC line voltage is applied to AC loads when main
switch SWl and door switches MSl and MS2 are ON.
(MSl and MS2 switch ON when the upper half of the
main body is closed, and switch OFF when the upper
half is opened).
If
an abnormal current flows in the
AC loads, circuit breaker CB 1 functions even if SW 1,
MSI and MS2 are turned ON, and the AC line voltage
is switched OFF.
Noise filter NF 1 and NF2 prevent noise in the
AC line caused by the printer and protect the printer
from noise in the AC line.
