Important:
Refer to your engine owner's manual for additional maintenance procedures.
CAUTION
If you leave the key in the ignition switch, someone could accidently start the engine and
seriously injure you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the ignition and disconnect the spark-plug wires from the spark plugs
before you do any maintenance. Set the wires aside so that they do not accidentally contact
the spark plugs.

Releasing the Cushion for
Rear Access
You can release the cushion for rear access to the
machine for maintenance or adjustment.
1.
Lower the platform.

Loosen the twist knobs on each side of the
machine

• Replace the primary air filter (more often in dirty or dusty conditions).
• Check the inner air filter (more often in dirty or dusty conditions).
• Adjust the caster-pivot bearing.
• Check the hydraulic-fluid level.
• Change the hydraulic filters and hydraulic fluid.
• Replace the inner air filter (more often in dirty or dusty conditions).
• Replace the fuel filter.
• Replace the transmission belt.
• Paint chipped surfaces.
• Perform all maintenance procedures listed above before storage.

• Grease the torsion idler.
• Grease the front caster pivots (more often in dirty or dusty conditions).

Raise the cushion, and slide it onto the pins on
both sides of the machine.
