Removal
WARNING:
Disconnect power cord.
1. Remove xerographic module. (REP 9.1)
2. Lower the transport latching cover.
3 .
Lower the front cover.
C A U T I O N
Replacement
The fuser roll may be hot.
Note:
Lightly lubricate the Fuser Roll over
C A U T I O N
the entire surface with Silicon
Oil,
in
Handle the Oil Dispenser Assembly with
the area where the Thermistor comes
care to avoid damaging
the
Stripper
i n contact
with
the roll.
Fingers,
1.
Adjust the fuser temperature (ADJ 10.1).
4. (Figure 1): Remove thermistor (RT1).
