For the TERRA SWM a fi ll- and fl ushing device for the heat source is available as an accessory.
The set consists of the following parts:
- TRIBLOC UK 32 DN 25 / 3 bar 50 kW
- 2 pcs. Flushing-ball cocks 1"
- 1 pcs. ball cock with integrated fi lter 1"
- 1 pcs. ball cock 1" for the return fl ow
- Stair bolt M8 and clamps for the wall fastening
The fl ushing pump and a vessel for treatment of the brine mixture need to be accomplished on site. The heat
source circuit has to be fl ushed before putting into service, to remove possible fouling.
The fl ushing device has to be isolated on site with the connection pipes. To avoid dirt in the heat pump, it is
necessary to close the delivered ball cock must be closed in case of servicing or repair works. The ball cock
must be installed in the return fl ow of the heat pump. The ball cock is in the shipment of the fi ll- and fl ushing
device. A fi lter ball valve is integrated in the fi ll- and fl ushing device.
The fi lter ball valve must be cleaned regularly.

Flushing and fi lling operation
The valves at the rinsing device and the expansion tank (fi g. above) have to be closed before fl ushing and
fi lling operation. The expansion tank is not connected. To get no dirt in the tank, the expansion tank must be
connected after the fl ushing process. After the fi lling of the brine circuit the valve of the expansion tank is
opened. The pressure in the expansion tank before fi lling is 0.5 bar. The remaining brine mixture is fi lled up,
so that the expansion tank is fi lled. The remaining air is blown off through the venting valve on the expansion
tank. After fi lling, the pressure must be 1.0 bar in the expansion tank.
