Close the lid (2) and cook the minestrone for 6 hours on LOW.
When the minestrone is ready, bring salted water to the boil in a separate pan and cook the pasta based
on the instructions on the packet.
Wash and finely chop the parsley.
Add the cooked pasta and the parsley to the prepared minestrone and sprinkle a little freshly grated
Parmesan on top.

9.2 Bolognaise sauce

For 4 people
Ingredients:
1 onion
1 garlic clove
1 carrot
100 grams smoked lardons
1-2 sticks of celery
500 grams of mixed mince
2 tablespoons butter
1/8 litre red wine
200 ml stock
400 grams (1 tin) peeled/whole tomatoes
500 grams passata
Salt, pepper, sugar, oregano
We also recommend:
500 grams cooked spaghetti
Freshly grated Parmesan
Method:
Peel the onions, garlic, carrots and celery. Chop everything finely.
Heat the butter gently in a pan. First fry the lardons, then add the onions, garlic, celery and carrots. Now
add the mince and stir the meat/vegetable mix to brown evenly.
Add the red wine, stirring all the time until it has almost all evaporated.
Add the browned mince to the ceramic pan (4). Then add the stock and the tomatoes. Mix well and
season with salt, pepper, a little sugar and oregano.
Close the lid (2) and cook the sauce for 6 hours on LOW.
