Maintain a clearance of at least 20 cm around the device. This prevents damage from
rising steam and heat.
Risk of fire!
Do not place the device on textile surfaces such as tablecloths.
Do not place the device on metal surfaces. These can heat up quickly and cause a fire.
Do not place the device under or directly next to flammable objects, e.g. curtains or
blinds.

8.1 Controls

Glass lid handle: Always use the handle to open or close the glass lid (2). This makes it easier
to handle and prevents burns.

Glass lid: Cover the ceramic pan (4) with the glass lid (2) to cook your food slowly.

Ceramic pan handles: Always use these handles to move or carry the ceramic pan (4) when it
is hot.
The ceramic pan handles can get very hot. Wear oven gloves if necessary.

Ceramic pan: The slow cooker cooking insert is made of ceramics. It is neutral in taste, easy to
clean and food is cooked gently.

Power indicator: This lights up when the slow cooker is switched to Low, Medium or High
levels. It goes out when the control dial (7) is moved to the Off position (slow cooker switched off).

Carry handles: Use these carry handles to move or carry the slow cooker.

Control dial: The slow cooker has three heat levels (Low, Medium and High) which you can
select using this dial. Select Off to switch the slow cooker off.

Heater unit: The heater unit warms the ceramic pan (4) and its contents. It is connected to the
power network and has a control panel in order to control the cooking process.

Non-slip feet: The non-slip feet ensure a stable footing and prevent the slow cooker slipping on
the surface.

Power cord: This supplies the slow cooker with power.

8.2 Filling the ceramic pan

Remove the glass lid (2) from the ceramic pan (4).

Add the desired ingredients to the ceramic pan (4). Do not overfill the ceramic pan (4)!
