Cordless handset
phonebook
The cordless handset phonebook allows
you to make calls without having to dial
manually. You can add 100 names and
phone numbers to the cordless handset
phonebook and search for phonebook
entries by name.
Adding items to the phonebook

Press { 电话簿 } ({>} key).

Press { 添加 } ({F1} key).

Enter the name (max. 6 chinese letters
or 12 roman letters). See "Entering the
name" for entry (page 27, 28).

Press { 保存 } ({F1} key).

Edit the search name (pinyin) if
necessary (max. 8 roman letters). See
the character table for entry (page 27).
Example:
You entered
"松下电器" in
step 3.
L The entered pinyin or roman letters in
step 3 will be displayed (including the
deleted letters). Edit them as
necessary.
L You can search the item using the
search name.

Press { 保存 } ({F1} key).

Enter the phone number (max. 24
digits).
L If a pause is required when dialing,
press {暂停} ({F2} key) where
needed (page 19).

Press { 保存 } ({F1} key).

Select the group by pressing {1} - {9}.
L If you press {关闭} to exit the
phonebook, the item is stored in the
group 1.
L You can select the group by pressing
{<} or {>}.

Press { 保存 } ({F1} key).
L To add other items, repeat from step
3.

Press { 关闭 }.
Note:
L Caller ID subscribers can use ringer ID
feature (page 34).
