Canceling the cordless handset
registration
If you no longer need to use the cordless
handset or if you want to use the cordless
handset with a different base unit of the
same model, it is necessary to cancel the
cordless handset's registration from the
current base unit.
Important:
L Before canceling, make sure the base
unit is not being used.
L Have the cordless handset and base
unit near each other when canceling the
cordless handset.
L If you do not use the cordless handset
after canceling registration, remove the
battery.
L If you cancel the cordless handset
registration of the extension number 1,
the date and time are not backed up
during a power failure.

Press { 菜单 } ({F1} key).

Press {#}{1}{2}{3}.

Press { 选择 } ({F1} key).

Press {1} to select " 解除 ".

Press the desired extension number
({1} to {6}).
Multi-unit Operation
Registering the cordless
handset
To use an additional cordless handset
(page 4), you need to register the cordless
handset to the base unit.
Important:
L Before registering, make sure the base
unit and the other cordless handsets are
not being used.
L Have the cordless handset and base
unit near each other when re-registering
the cordless handset.
L If "服务区外" is displayed even when the
cordless handset is near the base unit,
you may need to re-register the cordless
handset to the base unit.

Base unit:
Press and hold { 内线通话 } until
flashes.
L The rest of the procedure must be
completed within 3 minutes.

Cordless handset:
Press { 菜单 } ({F1} key).
L If "无法连接到座机" is displayed, wait
until "系统设置" is displayed.

Press {#}{1}{2}{3}.

Press { 选择 } ({F1} key).

Press { 保存 } ({F1} key).
L When the cordless handset has been
registered, you must select "解除" or
"注册". Press {2} to select "注册".
