Initial setting using the
cordless handset
Setting the dialing mode
If you cannot make calls, change this
setting depending on your telephone line
service. The default setting is "音频".
"音频": For tone dial service.
"脉冲": For rotary pulse dial service.

Press { 菜单 } ({F1} key).

Press {#}{0}{7}{9}.

Press {<} or {>} repeatedly to select
the desired setting.

Press { 保存 } ({F1} key), then press
{ 关闭 }.
Setting the date and time
Set the date and time so that the unit will:
– display the date and time the calls were
received in the caller list (page 36).
– display the date and time while listening
to messages using a cordless handset
(page 46).
– announce the day and time each
message was recorded by the
answering system (page 43) when you
play back messages.

Press { 菜单 } ({F1} key).

Press {#}{0}{0}{1}.

1 Enter the current year.
L You can set the year 2000 to 2099.
2 Enter the current month and day by
selecting 2 digits for each.
Example: July 15, 2006
Press {2}{0}{0}{6} {0}{7} {1}{5}.

Enter the current hour and minute
(24-hour clock format) by selecting 2
digits for each.
Example: 21:30
Press {2}{1} {3}{0}.

Press { 保存 } ({F1} key).
L If the cordless handset beeps 6
times, the date and time were not set
correctly. Enter the correct digits.

Press { 关闭 }.
Note:
L If you make a mistake when entering the
date and time, press {<} or {>} to move
the cursor, then make the correction.
L The date and time also display on the
base unit display.
L The date and time may be incorrect after
a power failure. Set the date and time
again.
