Battery charge
Problem
" 请充电 " is displayed,
4 flashes or the
cordless handset beeps
intermittently.
" 请充电 " and 4 are
displayed and the
cordless handset does
not work.
I charged the battery fully,
but " 请充电 " and/or 4
is still displayed.
The cordless handset
display is blank.
Power failure
During a power failure the base unit will work as a standard telephone, so that you can
make or answer outside calls with the base unit handset.
You cannot use the base unit speakerphone and the cordless handset.
L The base unit rings in "振铃 1" during a power failure, when a call is receiving.
L You cannot use {FLASH} during a call.
Note:
L The cordless handset of the extension number 1 will maintain the date and time until the
battery is discharged. After the power is restored, the base unit will receive the date and
time information from the cordless handset.
L The cordless handset will continue to search for the base unit and the battery power will
be consumed faster than usual.

Cause & solution
L Fully charge the battery (page 11).
L The battery has been discharged. Fully charge the
battery (page 11).
L Clean the charge contacts and charge again (page 11).
L The battery may need to be replaced (page 10). If you
install a new battery, fully charge it (page 11).
L Confirm that the battery is properly installed.
L Fully charge the battery (page 11).
