Useful features during a
call
HOLD feature
You can put an outside call on hold.
L The alarm tone will sound and the ringer
indicator will flash slowly when you put
the call on hold. After 10 minutes, the
call will be disconnected.
Melody on hold
If "保留旋律" is turned on, the other party
will hear the music during the hold. (To turn
this feature on, see page 42).
Using the cordless handset
Press {保留} during a conversation.
Note:
L To return to the call, press {保留}.
Using the base unit
Press {保留} during a conversation.
Note:
L To return to the call, press {保留}.
L If using the handset, you can place it on
the cradle.
L You will hear "Melody on hold" from the
base unit speaker. 9 levels (off, high to
low) are available. Press {V} or {^}
repeatedly.
Making/Answering Calls
MUTE button
You can mute your voice during a
conversation. While mute is turned on you
will be able to hear the other party, but the
other party will not be able to hear you.
To mute your voice, press {静音}.
L To return to the conversation, press
{静音}.
Voice select
This feature clarifies the voice of the
person you are talking to, reproducing a
more natural-sounding voice that is easier
to hear and understand.
You can select 3 levels of the voice pitch
(High/Middle/Low). The default setting is
"Middle".
Note:
L You cannot change the setting while the
unit is in speakerphone or intercom
mode.
L Once you change the level, it remains
for all outside calls until you change it
again.
L Depending on the condition and quality
of your telephone line, this feature may
emphasize existing line noise. If it
becomes difficult to hear, change the
setting.
Using the cordless handset

Press { 菜单 } ({F1} key) during an
outside call.

Scroll to " 通话音质设定 " by pressing
{V} or {^},
